Rolling Fork revolves around the notion of cooking with love and passion, echoing the cherished recipes of Italian mothers’ kitchens. It’s evident in every dish, meticulously prepared with top-quality ingredients sourced from Italy. This restaurant was founded and run by an Italian owner over 10 years ago.
What truly sets Rolling Fork apart is its warm hospitality and attentive service elevate the dining experience. This is the best Italian spot in our top Uluwatu restaurants list! Whenever we eat Italian we almost always choose a pizza and pasta to share! What we loved is that everything from the pizza dough to pasta is homemade and prepared very fresh to order!
The pizza dough rises for 48 hours before being cooked to ensure an exceptional flavor and the lightness that makes it so easy to digest.

2. Double Ikat by Marriott
Double Ikat is a one-of-a-kind modern Indonesian gastronomic experience and easily one of our favorite Uluwatu restaurants. When you arrive the restaurant is located by the resort’s infinity pool. You will see the incredible panoramic views of the picturesque horizon beyond.
Our recommendation, arrive early for happy hour and enjoy a drink at R Bar while watching the sunset. R Bar is located near the main lobby when and has a beautiful elevated patio, and DJ setting the mood!
Once the sun had set, it was dinner time! Double Ikat is named after the intricate indigenous weaving technique. It pays homage to this artistry by meticulously crafting each dish with vibrant local flavors and modern cooking methods.
Upon entering, we were greeted by colorful spools of thread and a traditional loom, showcasing the complexity of the Ikat weaving process. The restaurant’s decor is reminiscent of threaded looms. It provided both an iconic backdrop and a sense of intimacy.
From sambal-making demonstrations to a menu featuring beloved dishes from across Indonesia, Double Ikat prioritizes authenticity and quality. If there is one place to try babi guling (roast suckling pig) it’s at this restaurant! Other top-quality dishes we enjoyed were the chicken satay, oxtail soup, and fried snapper in a curry sauce. The dessert featuring banana mousse and lime sorbet was so light and refreshing.
Overall, this elevated Indonesian dining experience with fusion dishes was exceptional. Each dish we had was prepared beautifully and packed with so much flavor. What made this experience extra special was the attentiveness and service standards of the staff. They always were quick and so helpful in explaining several of the dishes.
3. Roosterfish Beach Club
We had to include Roosterfish in this list of Uluwatu restaurants! Although it’s about a 25-minute drive from the main Uluwatu center, it’s so worth it! The beach club is associated with Renaissance Hotel (Marriott) and offers free shuttles to the beach club from the hotel.

If you want a relaxing day lounging at a beach club with beach access, Roosterfish is a great option. We spent the entire day at Roosterfish first for brunch and then for a seafood sunset feast for dinner.
You can pre-book a beach club day pass with a cabana and receive the equivalent back in food vouchers! There are different options to book beach club passes for single-person bean bag chairs and sun loungers, to four-person cabanas. What we enjoyed about this beach club was the quality of food and amenities. You get direct access to Pandawa Beach and can swim in the beach club pool with a swim-up bar.l

4. Gooseberry

It’s open daily from 8 am to 10 pm, Gooseberry offers a modern menu featuring breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. It focuses on using the freshest seasonal ingredients which was recognized in all the dishes we tried.
We visited Gooseberry for brunch and ordered souffle pancakes, a smoothie bowl, and lemon meringue tart. The smoothie bowls were abundant and loved the refreshing bursts of fresh fruit. The souffle pancakes were excellent as well, light and fluffy for all you sweet tooth lovers out there. Ending with a pastry, the Lemon Tart with meringue was to die for, tart flavors and buttery shortbread, delicious!
We recommend booking a reservation in advance. It has different dining options for indoor comfort with air conditioning or outdoor dining overlooking the pool. We loved the vibes overall, one of the most aesthetically pleasing Uluwatu restaurants.

We came across this Warung when looking for a brunch restaurant on the cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. We couldn’t believe the prices, so many options 50,000 IDR and under which is less than $5. We ordered the avocado toast, smoothie bowl, and healthy juices.
All were super fresh and large portions, the value simply can’t be beat! Now let’s talk about the restaurant ambiance! There was a beautiful breeze and we chose bar-style seating overlooking the ocean where you could observe surfers riding waves.
To note, the restaurant is located inside Bluepoint Beach checkpoint, commonly known as Suluban Beach. We would recommend getting dropped off at the parking lot. From the parking lot, you will follow the staircase down to the restaurant. It’s common to have to pay ~$1 entry fee to the beach checkpoints. 6. Lolas Cantina Mexicana
Are you feeling an electric vibe, Mexican food and margaritas? Nestled among a row of Uluwatu restaurants, Lola’s Cantina brings a taste of Mexico’s vibrant cuisine to Bali’s tropical paradise.

From sizzling fajitas to Birria tacos and refreshing margaritas, the menu is fantastic! What makes Lolas special is the environment and people! We visited Lola’s on a Friday evening for live music and it was packed with so much fun energy.
A travel hack for visiting Lolas is to book a reservation between 4-7 pm for happy hour and enjoy the meal! Sit back and soak in the laid-back atmosphere as you enjoy our colorful dishes and handcrafted cocktails. We recommend the frozen margarita, chips & guac, and Birria tacos. Whether you prefer Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, or Tuna, there are options. It’s probably not the most suitable for those who don’t eat seafood. We did not try any of the other menu options however, specifically for the seafood BBQ, we recommend it! Going just before dinner and sunset is recommended to secure your spot.

In December 2016, amidst Uluwatu’s renowned waves, there was a gap in the coffee scene. Suka started with a coffee machine, a domestic fridge, and a panini press. It was transformed from an old warung into a modern, vibrant Australian-style café. It offers several menu options from avocado toast and smoothie bowls to sandwiches, burgers, surf & turf.
We felt that Suka Espresso was more than just a cafe, it’s a community of regulars that often gets very busy in the mornings. If you’re planning to visit one of our favorite beaches, Thomas Beach, it’s perfectly located right across the street. This makes it a fantastic breakfast spot before a chill beach day! 9. Hatch, Bar & Restaurant Uluwatu
Hatch is one of the most unique Uluwatu restaurants that is much more than a place to eat and drink. It has a kaleidoscopic tropical paradise, and has an immersive experience where every corner has something fun to explore!

Hatch Uluwatu is a playground for all ages, offering beer pong, pool, fusbol, table tennis, mini-golf, and a tattoo bar! It reminds me of a vibrant music festival-inspired bar with many common games you find in a sports bar and more! The food options would suit a wide variety of international cuisines from Japanese to Italian to American and Mexican.
Live music is a huge part of the fun ambiance of Hatch. It hosts an eclectic lineup of local and international talent which draws in many crowds looking for a fun night! So, whether you’re craving a vibrant nightlife scene or simply seeking good vibes and connectivity, Hatch Uluwatu is recommended!
10. Warung Local
Warung Local is another budget-friendly option in the list of Uluwatu restaurants. It’s a great spot to taste authentic Indonesian cuisine. The seating area is all open air with one small section which offers air-conditioned seats. Step into our cozy eatery and prepare to embark on a culinary journey through the diverse flavors of the archipelago.

At Warung Local you can try dishes like nasi goreng to chicken satay, each dish is a celebration of Indonesia’s rich culinary heritage. What loved about Warung Local was that you can make your Indonesian sampling platters. All the food is prepared in visible cafeteria-style trays for you to make selections! Not to worry, if you feel something made-to-order they have a menu as well.
It’s not just about the food; it’s about the experience. There was a packed house when we visited and popular among visitors when they visit Uluwatu. If you’re vegan or vegetarian you will not find it trouble to find something to eat here with many options!
11. Mana Uluwatu
Mana Restaurant is an oasis offering a high-quality menu and one of the best Uluwatu restaurants to watch a sunset. From the moment you arrive at the restaurant, you’re greeted with sweeping ocean views and a sun ready to set.
The restaurant offers two distinct settings: a formal dining area upstairs and a more relaxed atmosphere by the infinity pool. Both spaces have unique menus, ensuring there’s something for every taste.
The ambiance is lovely, open-air pavilion crafted from reclaimed teak and ironwood. Dining with a backdrop of panoramic ocean views, sea breezes, and a golden sunset in the distance is stunning!
It’s open daily from 7 am to 11 pm. It’s recommended to book a reservation to secure your desired table overlooking the sunset.
12. Cafe La Pasion
Cafe La Pasion is a hidden gem of the Uluwatu restaurants located near Balangan Beach! It’s a little bit off the beaten path from the central area of Uluwatu.

It has a more laid-back atmosphere and the menu focuses on Mexican-inspired cuisine. It has established a reputation for some of the best coffee in Uluwatu, perfect for starting your day.
We loved the fun, colorful, and cozy decor! There are plenty of seats if you want to enjoy the patio or eat in an air-conditioned cafe’s interior. It’s an ideal spot to unwind with friends, get some work done, or simply relax!
It was hard to not try one of the delicious cakes that was staring at us in the display. It’s most popular in the morning however, keep an eye out for events and specials on its Facebook page. It’s one of the Uluwatu restaurants that has live music daily!
13. Warung Lokal Uluwatu
Warung Lokal Uluwatu is the most budget-friendly option out of all the Uluwatu restaurants on the list. You can’t judge a book by its cover because this warung shocked us! It’s run by a very friendly Indonesian family serving very good traditional dishes.

It’s a very local restaurant I couldn’t find their contact information or website.
We ordered mie goreng and chicken satay with an ice-cold refreshing coconut. Mie goreng is the Indonesian fried noodles with vegetables. For less than $2.50-$3 a person how can you go wrong?

It’s so local that there are barely any reviews and info online. We do know it opens around 8:30 AM when we arrive! We’re happy we stumbled upon this warung and deserves more hype. The food was just as good as some of the other warungs we tried in Bali!

Start your day with a hearty breakfast or indulge in a leisurely brunch, with an array of different dishes to choose from. Not sure if it was the day but the fruit smoothies tasted a bit watered down.

We were interested in visiting the iconic Suluban beach and Single Fin is located right near the entrance! Suluban Beach is one of the most stunning beaches in the area where turquoise waters meet the rugged coastline.
