Fort Canning Centre
The Fort Canning Centre is a cultural center that hosts a variety of events and is located in Fort Canning Park. It is a must-visit because it beautifully integrates historical significance with modern cultural experiences.
We loved walking through the park which is home to a diverse range of beautiful trees and plants, including over 700 species of flora.
If you decide to do a guided walking tour, I recommend starting the day 30 minutes to an hour earlier as the tour lasts about 2 hours; Fort Canning Tree Tunnel is included in the Monday-Friday guided tour.

You can’t come to Singapore without stopping by Merlion Park! With its iconic 70-ton statue, it’s a photographer’s paradise. Against the backdrop of Marina Bay Sands and modern skyscrapers, this spot provided picture-perfect moments. It’s located right outside One Fullerton, which is where we inputted the address and walked to the statue!

It features a world-class casino, a rooftop infinity pool and an incredible view of the city skyline. You can also shop until you drop then enjoy a range of upscale restaurants and bars.

I particularly loved the Hainanese Chicken dish, even though I had to wait in line for about 20 minutes; it was absolutely worth the wait.

We visited close to Christmas time so there were tons of beautiful decorations even a massive Dior star to take photos in front of.
Inside, a visit to the Ion Art Gallery offers art enthusiasts a delightful experience, showcasing an array of captivating artworks that immerse visitors in the world of creativity. It’s free to visit!
Additionally, the renowned ION Sky provides a panoramic view of the cityscape. Unfortunately, the day we visited was rainy and foggy so we didn’t see much. If you spend at least $50 at the mall you can show your receipt and get a complimentary drink while you enjoy the stunning skyline.
From art aficionados to sightseers, Orchard Road offers a seamless blend of aesthetics and exploration, making it a must-visit destination for any traveler in Singapore.

15. Jewel Changi Airport
Changi Airport is truly the most beautiful airport I’ve ever visited. I purposely make sure my layovers are extra long if I am transiting through Singapore or I even take advantage of early airline check-in just to explore around.
What truly amazed me was the lush greenery indoors – a refreshing oasis in the midst of travel hustle. My taste buds were tantalized by the diverse culinary delights; I savored everything from local delicacies to international cuisine, leaving me spoiled for choice.
The entertainment options were endless; I caught a movie at the cinema, explored the enchanting Butterfly Garden, and even took a dip in the rooftop swimming pool. Changi Airport isn’t just an airport; it’s an immersive experience that ensures every moment of my journey is memorable.
