These operate like Uber in most countries however, you can take a car or hop on a scooter. If you’re experienced in riding scooters it can be an efficient way to park and drive yourself. Although we always use Grab or Gojek cars for longer distances and scooters for short distances.
Best Time to Visit Bingin Beach
The best time to visit Bingin Beach is during the dry season. This typically runs from April to October, when the weather is sunny. If you’re a surfer this is the ideal time for surfing. For fewer crowds, consider visiting on weekdays or early mornings. As the day progresses the beaches are busier, especially in the busy season. Surfers will find the most consistent waves between May and October. During the wet season, from November to March, the area is quieter and the landscape is lush, but expect occasional rain. Regardless of the season, it’s a wonderful experience.

How many steps are there to Bingin Beach?
Accessing Bingin Beach in Bali requires walking down a relatively steep set of steps from the cliff-top parking area. The step count can vary depending on which path you take. You can expect between 150-190 steps from the start of the walking path to the shore of the beach. The descent can be challenging, especially for those who struggle with physical or cardiovascular limitations. In any event, we recommend wearing comfortable, sturdy footwear, and staying hydrated. The climb back up is more demanding, particularly in hot or wet conditions. Take breaks when needed but the reward is worth the hike up and down the cliff!
