Adults: 27,000 KRW (~$18 USD). The adult is considered over 12 years old.
Children & Seniors:  24,000 KRW (~$16 USD). Children who are between 36 months and 12 years old and Seniors over 65 years old.
Infant: Free. The infant is someone under 3 years old (36 months) accompanied by a parent and can provide proof.

The best ways to get to Busan X The Sky are by subway, bus, taxi, or car. If you’re in the city, the metro (subway) is convenient. Buses are suitable for areas not directly served by the subway, while taxis and ride-sharing apps offer flexibility for door-to-door service. Consider factors like traffic and convenience when choosing your transportation method and always good to check the Naver Maps app to identify the most optimal transportation route.

Busan X The Sky Observatory is a must-visit attraction in the Haeundae LCT Landmark Tower. Opened in 2019, it’s the tallest building in Busan and Korea’s second tallest at 411.6 meters. It offers you the opportunity to experience stunning 360-degree views from its 98th to 100th floors. You can see Busan landmarks like Haeundae Beach and Gwangandaegyo Bridge.

 

The observatory features highlights like X The Lounge, X The Gift souvenir shop, and the world’s highest Starbucks on the 99th floor.

Busan X The Sky is located in the Haeundae LCT Landmark Tower. The tower is located in the Haeundae district of Busan. The tower is part of the Haeundae LCT complex, which includes luxury residential buildings, a shopping mall, and high-end facilities.

 

It’s located on the doorsteps of Haeundae Beach, one of Busan’s most famous attractions and best beaches.  The observatory is primely located to many other wonderful attractions in Busan like Haeundae Blueline Park.

Things To Do At Busan X the Sky- Why Visit?

In this section, we share all the main parts of what you can expect when visiting Busan X The Sky. Starting with entering the building to heading up the elevators to the observatory.

We arrived at Busan X The Sky from Haeundae Sky Capsule, Mipo Station. However, we made a huge mistake by entering a connecting building from the back and got lost for 30 minutes. Don’t make this mistake! Walk towards Haeundae Beach, and you will see a boardwalk separating the beach and the tower. The front entrance is clearly labeled Busan X The Sky. Make your way through this entrance where you will immediately see the ticket counter.

Busan X The Sky Ticket Office & Observatory Elevator

Approach the Busan X The Sky ticket office upon entering the building. We used our Visit Busan Passes. Refer to our Busan X The Sky Tickets section for a complete breakdown and recommendation.


You have to exchange your e-tickets or Busan Discover Pass for observatory tickets at the counter. Use this new ticket with a QR code to scan in at the elevator section. The elevator ride is a hot air balloon theme. Up, Up and Away we go to the 100th floor, where the observatory skywalk deck is located.

Busan X The Sky - 100th Floor Observatory

The 100th floor of Busan X The Sky offers breathtaking 360-degree views of Busan’s skyline, and coast. You can even see the incredible  Haeundae Beach and Gwangandaegyo Bridge landmark.

The observatory has floor-to-ceiling glass windows, glass-floored sections, and interactive displays, it provides an exciting immersive experience. This is the highest point in Busan X The Sky that you can witness the spectacular views.

The 99th floor of Busan X The Sky is where you can dine or have a nice coffee break. It is home to the world’s highest Starbucks. The floor also features the elegant 99 Restaurant, offering fine dining with panoramic views. If you have more time, having a meal in the clouds doesn’t sound too bad right!? We will discuss Starbucks in more detail in the following sections as we only had time for a quick bite. But first, a quick bathroom break and explore one floor down for different but equally stunning views.

You will be happy to know there are nice washrooms located on the 99th floor! We recommend using the washrooms located down the stairs pictured previously. You can enjoy some of the best bathroom views while sitting on the toilet – an unexpectedly fun experience. The loo with the view right!

One floor down provides a very unique observation experience. We love this spot to see a different view of the opposite side of Haeundae Beach! You will see stunning skyscrapers and views of Cheongsapo Port in the distance spanning into the sea!

The 98th floor of Busan X The Sky is designed to be an interactive and immersive experience. You can explore engaging exhibits showcasing Busan’s culture, history, and modern development, adding context to the stunning views.

This floor is great for photo zones. Whether learning about Busan or simply enjoying the views, the 98th floor is an essential part of the observatory experience. Now our stomachs our growling and it’s time to visit the tallest Starbucks in the world!

The Busan X The Sky Starbucks is located on the 99th floor. It’s currently the world’s highest Starbucks. It’s surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows and provides a unique coffee experience with unparalleled panoramic views of Busan. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy your favorite brew while soaking in the breathtaking cityscape from one of the highest points in the world. This chocolate cakes were seriously so decadent and tasty! 

 

The design of this Starbucks is tailored for relaxation, featuring spacious seating areas that allow you to take a break while soaking in the views.

Busan X the Sky Ticket Prices

When planning it’s important to be aware of all your options regarding Busan X The Sky Ticket prices. You can purchase tickets on the day you arrive but it will be the most expensive ticket price. 

 

We used our Visit Busan Passes. We recommend if you’re planning to do multiple attractions in Busan to look into this! It allowed us to save 60% versus paying for each attraction individually.
