English is the primary language spoken in Singapore, and you will have no issues communicating. Mandarin is the second most common language, despite Malay being the official language.

Currency

The main currency in Singapore is the Singapore Dollar (SGD), symbolized as S$ or $. Common denominations include S$2, S$5, S$10, S$50, and S$100. Coins come in 5, 10, 20, 50 cents, and S$1.

Entry Requirements

Tourist visas for Singapore are typically valid for 30 days. To enter, you need to submit an SG Arrival Card and e-health declaration through the ICA website 72 hours before arrival, including your arrival day. Some countries may require a visa for entry. You can check the list of countries here. Proof of vaccination or a test result is not mandatory.

Outlets

Singapore primarily uses Type G power plugs with three rectangular prongs. Type C and Type M plugs are also occasionally used in Singapore therefore, having a universal adapter can be beneficial.

to visit Singapore?

The best time to travel to Singapore is from February to April for cooler, less humid weather and rainfall. While it’s a year-round destination with consistent temperatures between 24°C (75°F) and 31°C (88°F), the best time to visit the beach is from May to August, and the wet season occurs from October to January.
