We loved the kaya toast, it has a slightly sweet taste and is traditionally served with eggs! The good quality coffee gave us the energy for a jam-packed day!

Next on this Singapore Itinerary are all free activities! We absolutely loved how many free things there were to do in Singapore. The Fort Canning Tree Tunnel is a picturesque and beautiful natural canopy created by ancient trees, and it’s located in the historic Fort Canning Park. During your stay in Singapore, this offers a calming getaway for history buffs and nature lovers.

Now this stunning photo spot is a must! We waited about 5-10 minutes in line to get a beautiful Instagram-worthy photograph!

Update: On our most recent visit to this Instagram-famous spot, we were met with a long line that just didn’t feel worth the wait. It looked like at least an hour based on the pace of photo-taking. Seeing it in person again felt a bit underwhelming due to the crowd. That said, the photos here at the Fort Canning Tunnel are still stunning.

Tip: If you’re planning on visiting this spot go early in the morning to beat the tourist crowds!

On our most recent trip to Singapore we wanted to see the Garden Rhapsody show from the OCBC Skyway. I accidentally purchased tickets to the Supertree Grove Observatory which was still a very cool experience but I would have much preferred to see the show from the sky walk. Just keep that in mind when purchasing tickets because there are many different options it’s easy to get confused.

Where to Stay in Singapore

Choosing where to stay in Singapore can be challenging, especially with its reputation as one of the most expensive cities for accommodations. To help, I’ve broken down the three best areas—Marina Bay for luxury and iconic views, Orchard Road for shopaholics, and Sentosa Island for a resort-like experience.

From budget-friendly capsule hotels to world-class luxury stays like Marina Bay Sands, there’s an option for every type of traveller. See more options in the Ultimate Singapore Travel Guide
